Delete your Leitiq account
This page explains how to request deletion of your Leitiq account and what happens to your data.

How to request account deletion
1. Sign in at leitiq.com or in the Leitiq mobile app.
2. On the web, open Account from the user menu, scroll to Delete account, enter your password, and type DELETE to confirm. In the mobile app, open the Account tab, then Delete account, and complete the same confirmation.
3. Deletion is immediate and permanent. If you signed in with Google only and have not set a password yet, set a password in Account settings first, then delete your account.
4. If you cannot sign in, email [email protected] from the address registered on your account and ask us to delete it. We will verify ownership and delete the account manually. You can also use the contact form.
Data that will be deleted
When your account is deleted we permanently remove: your profile and login details (name, email, password, Google account link); courses, decks, and flashcards you own; all study progress and history (card progress, study sessions, review logs, FSRS scheduling data); goals and reminder settings; device push tokens; and active sessions and API tokens. Any active web subscription is canceled as part of deletion.
Data that may be retained
Billing and payment records may be retained by our payment processors (Stripe, Apple, or Google) under their own legal and tax obligations, separate from your Leitiq account. If you published a deck to the shared library and it was approved, that anonymized library copy remains available to other learners (it is owned by the library account, not your user account); your name and attribution are removed. Routine encrypted database backups may keep a copy of deleted data for up to 14 days until those backups rotate out.
